90mm circular magnetic ND1000 filter for use with your K100/K9 slim filter holder and magnetic adapter ring.
The magnetic ring on this ND1000 neutral density filter makes it easy to attach and remove from the K100-K9 holder. The filter is made of high-quality Wolverine glass, making it almost indestructible. This filter was specially developed for the K100-K9 holder. Use this filter to reduce light intensity by 10 stops.
ND (neutral density) filter
ND filters are used when shooting with long shutter speeds to control the exposure time of a scene. The neutral density filter affects the amount of light reaching the sensor. The degree of reduction depends on the strength of the ND filter used. Neutral density filters do not alter the colours in your photo, making it easier to work with a slower shutter speed or a wider aperture.
